Business Boost Grant: What You Need To Know

The Queensland Government has been rolling out various grants to support and fund small businesses, aiding them in growth and recovery – from losses caused by COVID-19.

These include the Business Growth Fund Programme, Business Basics Grant Programme and the Small Business COVID-19 Adaption Grant Programme. For more information on these grants, you can read about them here.

The funds provided within these grants cater to various needs a particular business could have, which eventually allow them to further market their services better and improve operations.

The next available grant is the Business Boost Grant Programme, which is an upcoming programme that has been put together by the Queensland Government to help established businesses with funds up to $15,000. These can be used to upgrade and further develop software and CRM systems to improve productivity.

Apart from that, the grants can also be used towards:

  • Website development and upgrades
  • Training and coaching
  • Advisory services
  • Marketing and business continuity.

Since the grant is yet to begin accepting applicants, guidelines on eligibility criteria and how one can apply will be available in mid-July 2021. Applications for the Business Boost grant will open at the end of July.

Previous grants closed within a matter of hours, due to high volumes of applications, so preparation is vital.
