Vendors may not seem like a high-priority constituency to most CEOs and business owners, but in fact, a strong business-vendor relationship can significantly boost growth. Unfortunately, many people take this relationship for granted, or seek to squeeze the maximum benefit out of it without considering the potential damage this attitude can cause to a supplier.
A more advantageous outcome is possible when the right business and the right vendor strike up a long-term relationship. Here are tips on cultivating this potentially rich association and gaining maximum ROI on both sides:
The supplier with the lowest bid isn’t necessarily the best choice for your business. As you explore what a supplier has to offer, do everything possible to “find out what your experience will be like as a user,” advises Inc. This process should include these steps:
